“Springtime of the Soul” (Primavera del Alma) celebrates rebirth, vitality, and the harmony of inner nature through a lush and poetic composition. The scene depicts stylized birds emerging from undulating plant forms beneath a central sun that envelops the background, creating a constant dialogue between movement and serenity.
The colors are especially rich and luminous: fresh greens, deep blues, golden yellows, and vibrant reds intertwine softly, generating dynamic transitions that evoke light, growth, and vital energy. The carefully crafted weave provides a subtle brocade-like relief on key surfaces, intensifying the visual depth and enhancing every detail with an almost painterly quality.

Its fluid composition and chromatic balance make it a centerpiece capable of bringing warmth, sophistication, and an atmosphere of refined optimism. “Spring of the Soul” is a tapestry much loved by its author, the master Constantino Laura, being the Winning Work of the First Design Competition for Innovation in Peruvian Handicrafts in 2004, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru (MINCETUR).
