“Rituals and Visions” (Rituales y Visiones) is a textile piece of breathtaking symbolic depth that serves as a bridge between the tangible world and the ancestral spirituality of the Andes. The work is organized around a sacred central axis: a radiant Chakana inscribed within a mystical sun, from which a sprout of life emerges, symbolizing the eternal connection between the earth and the cosmos. On the left, a ritual bowl overflowing with sacred leaves evokes offerings and gratitude to Pachamama, while the rest of the composition unfolds in layers of stylized mountains and geometries that suggest visions of a transcendental world.
The color palette is a celebration of light and earth: golden and incandescent yellows blend with coppery oranges and deep reds, creating an atmosphere of ceremonial warmth. These warm tones contrast masterfully with the serenity of the vibrant greens in the leaves and the deep blues and violets that define the silhouettes of the apus (sacred mountains).
This piece is much more than a tapestry; it is an artistic presence that imbues any space with an atmosphere of peace, sophistication, and deep reflection. Its visual language, which unites ancient tradition with refined contemporary craftsmanship, makes “Rituals and Visions” a central piece for those seeking luxury with a powerful cultural identity.
All tapestries sold by Amaru are crafted from alpaca wool, cotton, and blended fibers, ensuring exceptional quality and long-lasting durability.
